Services Provided to the Institute
The Cars are provided to the institute members on request, as per prescribed requisition form and submitted to the supervisor for suitable allotments. Members can also request vehicles for guests for pick up to/ from Airport / Railway Station to SINP Guest House.
Our Vehicles are also used by the Laboratories to ferry Instruments / related materials to other Laboratories for Experimental work related requirements.
Daily Schedules
The Section runs pickup services for the Students/ Research Fellows/ Post-Doctoral Fellows residing at Meghnad Saha Abasan (MSA II) on E.M Bypass near Ruby Hospital to attain the Institute and return to abasan (Hostel) on weekly working days.

- A pickup bus starts from MSA II at 9.15 am to reach SINP Salt Lake campus at 9.45 am ( Mon to Sat day)
- A pickup Bus leaves SINP SLC Campus at 18.20 hrs for MSA II hostel ( Mon to Sat day)
- A pickup Bus leaves SINP SLC Campus at 20.30 hrs for MSA II hostel (Mon to Fri day)
- A pickup Bus starts from MSA II hostel at 11.00 hrs for SLC campus (Mon to Fri day)
- A pickup bus starts from SLC to MSA II hostel at 22.00 hrs. ( Mon to Fri day)
- Apart from the normal schedules as mentioned above, buses are provided to summer students and other academic visitors on approval from competent authority
