Abstract        :

In the standard model, there are many scattering and decay processes which begin at one-loop level at the leading order itself. The study of such loop-induced processes is complementary to new physics searches. In this regard, due to a large gluon luminosity available at high energy hadron colliders such as the LHC, the gluon initiated one-loop scattering processes are of particular interest. In my talk, I will describe the calculation of leading order one-loop amplitudes for the associated production of the Higgs and an electroweak vector boson along with a jet via gluon-gluon fusion. Their contributions to the corresponding hadronic cross sections and some other interesting phenomenological results for the LHC will also be discussed.
