Abstract | : |
In recent years we have seen remarkable advancements being made in theoretical physics under a broad theme named the gauge-gravity duality. In this talk, we will focus on using this idea as a tool to learn about strongly coupled systems in general. Our discussions will be mainly confined in the efforts to understand strongly coupled Quantum Chromodynamics, strongly coupled condensed-matter-inspired systems and systems out-of-equilibrium. |
