Dr. Chandrima Das awarded 'The Swarnajayanti Fellowship' by the Department of Science & Technology, GOI
Dr. Chandrima Das, Associate Professor-F at the Department of Biophysics and Structural Genomics Division of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics has been selected as a Swarnajayanti Fellow for Life Sciences Group. The fellowship, constituted in 1997 to commemorate India’s 50
th Independence, provides a scheme where a selected number of young scientists (under 40 years of age), with a proven track record, are provided special assistance and support to enable them to pursue basic research in frontier areas of science and technology. The support will cover all the requirements for performing the research and will include a fellowship for five years. Our heartiest congratulations to Chandrima!
