Abstract | : |
Hyperuniform states are liquids having crystal properties. Unlike ordinary fluid, here the disordered arrangement of constituents violate the central limit theorem. Hyperuniformity is found in bird's eye, emulsions, quasi-crystals, large scale structures of universe etc. I will discuss its presence in self organised critical(SOC) systems and explain how it affects the determination of universality. Substantial time will be spent in introducing SOC. |
