Tips to create menus using CMS
- Use the link for CMS administration link - https://saha.ac.in/web/administrator/index.php
- Create a menu item Test with a title “Test” and an alias say “cmbd-test1” under a particular top-menu-item say ”Facilities” to create the main menu item under which a new menu module can be built.
- Click on the menu <<Extensions>> and <<Module Manager>> to create a new module say “CMBD Test Menu”. Use <<Select Position>> to place the module say “right-column”.
- Click on the menu <<Menus>> and <<Menu Manager>> to create a new menu say “CMD Test Menu” alias “cmbd-test-menu” and create the menu items under it say “Home”, “Security Alerts (Internal Users Only)” and “Security Documents (For Committee members only)” with proper alias names viz. “cmbd-security-home”, “cmbd-security-alerts” & “cmbd-secdocs”. Template Style of these items should be same say “SinpDivisions – Default”.
- Click on the menu <<Content>> and <<Article Manager>> to create the contents for each of the menu items. Titles of the articles can be like “Security Home” with alias “cmbd-security-home”, “Security Alerts” with alias “cmbd-security-alerts” and “Security Documents” with alias “cmbd-secdocs”.
